The Landmark Group Endurance Team has a strong tradition in endurance sport as well as many other sports. Several of our members have competed in double century bike rides, half marathons, full marathons, crossfit, yoga, mountain climbing, 10k's, wake boarding, inner tubing, and basically any kind of aerobic conditioning. Landmark Group put together the Endurance Team, that is open to our employees and business partners, to show our dedication to athletic achievement, as well as build a community within Landmark Group. Each year we go to an array of races, climbs and other events. The Mercedes Sprinter is the team vehicle that supports and transports all of the team members. If you are interested in being part of the endurance team please fill out the form on the Join Us page.
On March 13, 2013 the Landmark Endurance Team went on yet another adventure to Mounts Bierstadt and Evans. They knew it was going to be an eventful trip because the weather predictions were a little crazy. When the team got there they were all psyched and ready to make it to the top, but mother nature had another path chosen for them. Dave and one of his sons got separated from the group; they eventually caught up. Then, the mountain decided that it did not like this, so it was going to throw tons of snow at them which lead the teams decision to not continue with the trip. The Endurance team decided it would be better to be safe than sorry. If they would have continued in the conditions on that mountain who is to say what would have happened. Thankfully the team made the right decision and everyone made it home!
